Coat Closet Goodness

Another item that was checked off of the “to-do” list was the framing out and installation of the coat closet door. Yes, the mudroom is progressing on the inside as well as the outside. Remember in this post when I mentioned how Pavlo had framed out and drywalled the new closet in the mudroom?

Well, now it has a door! A $35 antique store door, to be exact. Just $35 for a solid wood door was a great find and we were going to do just about anything to get it home.



It’s not a huge coat closet but considering this house was lacking one completely until now, it’s definitely a wonderful (and necessary) addition to the house! I’m thinking that it would look really amazing if the door was painted in an accent color, kind of like they did here:

love the door and i think painting it an accent color would be wonderful!
