Prime Time
This is just going to be a quick post on the priming that’s going on in the laundry room these days. It was soooo much priming that we actually rented a paint sprayer to get it done as quickly as possible. It was the greatest investment. Priming only took two evenings! (It was the massive amount of prepping with plastic and tape that took forever!)
The entire room is now white with primer. Here is the before and after of the block and the doors:

Even the extra cabinet that sat between the washer and dryer was primed. (Just in case you’re curious where on earth this cabinet came from. It’s actually from my parent’s kitchen renovation, which reminds me, I should really post on that soon!)
Now the room is just SCREAMING for color! I’m seeing soft blues, greens and grays in this room’s future.
I’m thinking of painting our unfinished laundry room as well (yours looks absolutely gorgeous, just what I’m hoping for). How did you prep the walls and ceiling before you primed? Did you wash them down? Dust them?
